The Grand Finals for the Tuao Christmas Choral Competition was held at the Leonardo N. Mamba Gymnasium 1 and this undertaking was initiated by no other than our Hon. Mayor Atty. Francisco Jun Mamba to futher develop the singing talents of the Tuaoenos... Winners for Week 1 (Dec. 6-Fugu- Alabug E/S) & Bagumbayan E/S for the elem category; INHS Alabug & INATs Bagumbayan), Week 2 (Dec 13--Mambacag E/S & Tuao Central E/S ; TVTS Malummin & TVTS Culung for the H.S.), Week 3 ( Battung E/S & Bugnay ES) competed last December 27, 2014 in separate categories. Adjudged winners are the following: Elementary Category: Grand Champion-Tuao Central ES; 2nd Place- Bagumbayan ES; 3rd Place-Fugu-Alabug ES... For the High School Category: Grand Champion-INHS Alabug; 2nd Place-INATS Bagumbayan ; 3rd place-TVTS Malummin. For both categories, 1st Prize will receive a cash prize of P20,000.00 each ; 2nd Prize-P 15,000 each and 3rd Prize-P10,000 each. Thanks to our Judges (Retired Music Teachers) from week 1 up to the culmination of this activity: Mr. Hernando Chavente, Mrs. Consuelo Serrano, Mrs. Leticia Cipriano, Mrs. Wilma Somera (week 1), Mrs. Rosalina Musni (week 2).. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Our sincerest THANKS to our benefactor for the grand finals, the PCSO thru Director Atty. Mabel P. Villarica-Mamba for sponsoring the prizes to our winners!

The Christmas spirit is in the air!!!

The Municipality of Tuao thru the initiative of Mayor Atty. Francisco Jun Mamba has launched the BELEN CONTEST 2014. Contested Belens are made by the different Barangays of East and West, showing their imaginative and creative masterpieces.

Awarding of winners for the Belen Contest 2014 by our Hon. Mayor Atty. Francisco Jun Mamba. For the eastern barangays: First Place- Brgy. Palca; 2nd Place- Brgy. Culung; 3rd Place-Brgy. Dagupan.. For the western barangays-First Place-Brgy. Centro 01; 2nd Place-Brgy. Alabug; 3rd Place-Brgy. Mungo. The winners for both east and west barangays received the following cash prizes from the Local Government Unit: 1st Place- P10,000 each, 2nd Place- P7,000.00 each; 3rd Place-P5,000.00 each... Thanks to our judges Mrs. Corinne Postrado Mamba (Chair), NGO representative (Pres. of the Tuao Women's Cooperative) Ms. Marlene Baligod, Hon. SB Member Felisa Tabao, Retired District Supervisor Mrs Visitacion Mabborang, Rev. Fr. Vincent Siccuan ( Asst. Parish Priest of the Holy Guardian Angels); Atty. Charo Mamba Villaflor. .
