I. SECURING A BUILDING PERMIT

1. Get your Building Permit Application Forms (Building, Electrical, Sanitary / Plumbing, Mechanical) – 4 copies, from the Engineering staff on duty and you will be given a short briefing on how to accomplish said forms. A schedule for Site Inspection will be given to you by the Technical Staff in-charge.

2. Meet the Technical Staff at the Site to be inspected.

3. After the Site Inspection, submit the plans and all required documents for Evaluation and Assessment by the Technical Staff in-charge. You will be issued an Order of Payment to pay the corresponding fees at the Municipal Treasurer’s Office.

  • Application Forms (Building, Electrical, Sanitary / Plumbing, Mechanical) – 4 copies
  • Site Development Plan indicating the Setback/yard distances at the front, sides and back with perspective – 4 copies
  • Building Plans (Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Sanitary / Plumbing, Mechanical) – 2 sets
  • Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates duly signed by Civil Engineer/Architect – 3 copies
  • Specifications – 3 copies
  • Title of Property (TCT) – 3 copies
  • Deed of Sale/Lease Contract/Contract to Sell, if the TCT is not in the name of the owner/applicant – 3 copies
  • Latest Tax Declaration and Certificate of Real Property Tax Payment – 4 copies
  • Structural Design Computations with seismic analysis which conform to the latest NSCP – for 3 storeys and above - 2 copies
  • Clearances from other government agencies exercising regulatory functions – 2 copies. Such regulatory agencies are:
    • HLURB – for zoning and land use of all types of building/structures
    • Bureau of Fire Protection – for all types of building/structures
    • Environment and Natural Resources Office/Department of Environment and Natural Resources – for all commercial and industrial buildings
